Design firm founded in 1997 by Jay Harman in San Rafael, applying the spiral geometry seen in natural flows to fans, mixers and water treatment systems. The resulting shapes cut turbulence and the electricity use of equipment. Its PAX H2(O) system won the final phase of the US Department of Energy Hydrogen Shot Prize in April 2024.
