Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture and the Blue Economy based at Maison Collet in Victoria, steering national maritime policy for a country whose exclusive economic zone exceeds 1.3 million square kilometres. A new Principal Secretary for the Blue Economy took office on 23 February 2026. In January 2026 a 10.48 million dollar GEF-8 project was signed with UNDP for the blue and green transition.
